We have an immediate need for a Business Analyst.
JOB DESCRIPTION
These are Business Analysts who will be reviewing and auditing Software Licenses. They will need to have experience with working with Software Licenses. Tasks and duties include:
- Review/audit what software and licenses (No. of licenses they have for each).
- Document and track these licenses.
- Review/audit software licensing contracts and see who is using what. Can some licenses be shared or allocated to another group.
- What software is being used and needed? What can be decreased or eliminated, etc.
Qualifications:
0-5 Years Expert business and systems analysis in a distributed system environment. Includes business rules based expertise
Critical thinking/problem solving skills. Knowledge of business and industry trends and applications across all lines of business and delivery channels. Knowledge of software asset management principles, software licensing models and contracts. Knowledge of software licensing reconciliation process. Previous audit experience will be helpful. Expert facilitation and collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with distributed systems technologies. Team Player.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working with IT teams to collect and interpret multiple licensing contracts. Obtain installation data for different softwares in the environment using different tools and working with IT teams. Perform reconciliation between the software license entitlements and installation base.
