Description: The Senior Programmer (Entertainment) is responsible the for the timely completion of systems and programming tasks for complex or business-critical applications. Works closely with other IT groups and is allocated to one or more business units of medium to large scale, moderate to high complexity, and/or moderate to high visibility. Performs system design, coding, testing, installation, documentation and post-installation audits, in accordance with established standards. Performs routine data collection, organization, workflow and support analysis. Supports Business Analysts in the preparation of business and functional requirements. Maintains expertise in the latest state of the art technologies and languages as they pertain to the existing and planned processing environments in use. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree preferably in Computer Science with a minimum of 7 years experience in systems analysis and programming working within a formal methodology environment for software development. Will have a full understanding of project management processes and tasks and have experience in full project lifecycle including all stages of analysis, design, development and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions. Programming language and operating system expertise consisting of, but not limited to the following; C#, SQL Server and Crystal Reports. Will have experience in systems design, development and deployment of applications in multi-tier environment. Must demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Should have experience in building complex custom controls and objects. Will have the ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload and direction from management. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate critical issues and discuss resolutions with management.
