Detailed description:
Summary:
Provides technical expertise for the development and design for client engagement from development phase through implementation of projects. Responsible for the coordination, design, coding, implementation and completion of projects, and other related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Essential Job Functions:
. Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting internal business requirements.
. Oversees testing and develops fixes.
. Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
. Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
. Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to internal clients
. Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
. Monitors and summarizes progress of project.
. Performs code reviews and provides feedback
. Updates senior management with reports on the status of projects
Secondary Job Functions:
. Prepares reports for management regarding status of project.
. Providing technical leadership to technology services and corporate operating units
. Defining project objectives and preparing project plans (this includes helping corporate and business units prepare project plans)
. Assists with the development of strategic technical architecture plans
. Resolving technical and business issues
. Assists in developing technology application standards
