NO AGENCIES PLEASE LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY SCOPE OF WORK / JOB DESCRIPTION Senior developer in a core technology group (Global Derivatives Technology) that supports the middle and back office global platform for Investment Bank?s Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives. Will design, develop and maintain an AJAX based Java/J2EE web portal application suite. Candidate will work on cutting edge technology including AJAX, Java-swing, multiple J2EE technologies (JSP, EJBs, JMS) and Java Scripts/DHTML on a Weblogic platform. About 6+ years experience in AJAX, Java/J2EE, Java-Swing and Object-Oriented analysis and design. Must have demonstrated experience with portal based front-end GUI development using AJAX based technologies in an application server environment (Weblogic preferred). Any work experience in the area of Data Warehousing will be a plus. Should have a firm grasp of database concepts and should have working experience with database programming (SQL/Stored Procedures) as well (Sybase or Oracle). Business knowledge of OTC Derivatives is a plus but not required. NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS Team Player, Self-starter and thorough who is willing to take on any assigned job / responsibilities. Special emphasis is given to self-motivated, articulate, responsible candidates who take complete ownership of tasks assigned and are familiar with software development life cycle methodologies.
