Atyeti is seeking a QA person for our direct client in Investment banking in NYC.
Responsibilities
- To monitor and report out our ability to have a consistent Testing lifecycle process set that enables efficient, effective testing service delivery for IB IT, in harmony with GSDP/ SDLC+ & other PSG, CS IT processes (Primary)
- To continue to identify opportunities for improvement for the IT testing process in collaboration with other PB and Corporate Systems (Secondary)
-To govern and maintain end to end Testing Lifecycle process documentation set (STLC+) for testing service delivery by STS under various system development methodologies including waterfall/ agile
- To own, govern and maintain documentation of additional support process set for STS, for Governance, MIS/ metrics, Internal management, Vendor/ Supplier management etc. To take in and consolidate for review all comments on processes and tools sets as vehicle to publish/ deliver and ensure continous improvement process
- Collaborate with Tools competency for leveraging Testing tools (e.g. Quality Center) appropriately for process compliance. Document a methodology for ensuring that compliance.
- Above includes generating, maintaining process artifacts (templates, checklists etc.) for STS.
- Coordinate the process with overall QM team on the implementation of and management of compliance assessments/ audits to check process adherence by the STS teams/ stakeholders
- identify waste in process and work to continous improvement process
- Ensure that STLC+ is consistent with, supplements SDLC+/ GSDP/ PSG processes as appropriate
- stakeholders (PSG/ Development/ DMQM) to keep the STS process set relevant & consistent
- Actively & periodically engage with PB IT and Corporate Systems IT process leads and work collaboratively to ensure process consistency at CS IT level
Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelors Degree Required
-Have solid experience in setting up, governing process set for large teams/ divisions; preferably testing processes,
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Preferred
- Ability to show evidence or previous experience in monitoring and improving processes.
-Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Have experience working in global teams
- Have testing knowledge/ experience
- Preferably have ISTQB Certification (not mandatory)
