Microsoft Exchange Specialist in Albany, NY

The Microsoft Exchange Specialist will perform a migration from the current Exchange 5.5 environment to Exchange 2003. The project will also include the initial deployment of Blackberry Enterprise Server following the MS Exchange 2003 migration. The specialist will also be expected to develop and document options for full backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures using Veritas NetBackup for Exchange. Project will include the following tasks: ? Create migration project plan ? Audit current environment and prepare environment for migration ? Build, patch and harden Windows 2003 server for Exchange environment ? Install and patch Exchange 2003 SP2 ? Performance tune new Exchange 2003 environment ? Install, patch and document Blackberry Enterprise Server v4 ? Develop, implement, and document backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures ? Fully document complete build process ? Perform production migration off-hours (outside M-F, 7 am to 7 pm) Experience: Mandatory Experience Required: ? MCSE Windows 2003 Certification (a copy of your certificate will be required if you are chosen) ? Experience with Veritas NetBackup for Exchange ? Documented experience migrating to Exchange 2003 ? References from past assignments where Exchange migrations were performed Desired Experience: ? Completion of "Implementing and Managing MS Exchange Server 2003" (Exam 70-284) of MCSE certification (a copy of your certificate will be required if you are chosen) ?
