Perform the following activities to support release management on projects:
.Identify the operations technical requirements to implement the solution
.Identify the IT System Operations resources and budget required to implement the solution
.Coordinate procurement of the solution
.Understand the infrastructure technical solution and coordinate the capacity planning, and implementation of the necessary environments, including transition to production.
.Challenge the solution requirements and architecture to meet the infrastructure and security standards and business needs of the project
.Ensure that system operations management reviews and sign's off on project at each phase end and prior to production implementation
.Ensure that the project team follows proper change control procedures
.Stay abreast of the standards and procedures as needed to support project work
.Work with the project manager to controls requirements, scope, and change management issues.
.Provide logistical support to the project team
.Provide the required project documentation described in the company's solutions development process to exit each phase of the project.
Experience: Experience Needed:
.Worked in a large matrix organization
.Mainframe and open systems experience
.Demonstrated skills in implementing technical infrastructure and process solutions utilizing a structured SDLC.
.Demonstrated skills in developing and achieving project scope, costs, and planning.
.Demonstrated skills in forming and fostering high performance, cross-functional teams.
.Demonstrated Delivery of both large-scale Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications and custom developed applications.
