Network Architecture and Engineering provides global standards and strategy for our client's network infrastructure. It is part of Architecture and Engineering within Enterprise Services. The team is responsible for:

- Defining the strategy.
- Evaluating and selecting network products.
- Defining the architecture and standards.
- Leading the high profile and complex designs.
- Provide third line support.

The Network Architecture and Engineering team has representatives in Germany, UK, US and Asia.

ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The work includes:

- Providing design and implementation guidelines.
- Product research, selection and testing.
- Writing technical documents, reports, design etc.
- Technical lead in major implementations.
- Third level support.

The job requires exposure to network operations and implementation and extensive experience in design work.

Key responsibilities are development of standards and technical lead in major project.

1. Essential Skills:
- Routing/ Switching TCP/IP skill - 5 years experience CCIE level
- Network Security knowledge - In depth understanding of protocols
- Writing technical documents - Good report writing skill
- Operation and implementation
- A few years work experience
- Design experience - Min of 3 years
- Technical lead - For a number of projects

2. Desirable Skills:
- UNIX and NT
- Voice technology
- Network management
