RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide support for all firewall, VPN, and access control systems
2. Perform application and production network problem diagnosis and resolution in support of Operations Technical Support team.
3. Daily review of firewall, IDS, and network device logs
4. Prepare weekly security event summary based on security device output
5. Work directly with Network Services and Operations staff to resolve new and discovered vulnerabilities as directed by CISO.
6. Daily vulnerability research
7. IDS signature & software maintenance
8. Security system documentation
9. Incident response
10. Prepare security-related Change Requests
11. Monitoring of security device alerts during trading hours.
12. Incumbent may perform additional tasks and/or special projects as directed.
Experience: QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Education: Four-year degree or equivalent experience 2. Experience: 3 - 4 years 3. Special Equipment Knowledge: Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls 4. Skills: .Cisco and IOS security to include ACLs, VLANs, TACACCS+, CSPM .Linux, W2K, Solaris .Stonegate, PIX, Netscreen, iptables firewalls .Hacker Methodologies .Vulnerability Assessment tools (Scanners, exploits, etc.) .Protocol Analyzers & Sniffers .Basic Incident Handling .Intrusion detection .TCP/IP and routing .HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, ICMP, FTP, SSH and related protocols and tools 5.
