Technical Project Manager is responsible for the entire life cycle of technically oriented initiatives including: LAN/WAN implementations, data center buildouts, and the transition of networking services for educational, corporate, government, and healthcare clients.

You will be responsible for overseeing a staff of Project Coordinators and field teams in the implementation of large-scale computer and computer networking projects. This key position involves significant customer interaction, and requires strong communication, leadership, and team motivation expertise.

Project management responsibilities include:
work planning, scheduling, resource allocations, financial budgets, risk / quality management, team coaching, and mentoring.

Technical responsibilities include:
the development and maintenance of technical processes, ensuring compliance with project guidelines and standards, and acting as the escalation and management point for issues.

Your responsibilities will also include proposal development, project scope development, resource management, budgeting, project planning, database development, tracking and reporting, etc.
Experience: Required Skills/Experience: Qualified applicants will have extensive project management experience including formal project management training, a demonstrated ability to deliver large projects on time and within budget, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Excellent writing and presentation skills are also essential. Knowledge of computers, LAN's/WAN's, network infrastructure including cabling plants and providing services to public organizations will be to your advantage as well.
