Candidate must have extensive experience working with QA / testing lifecycles and designing test cases.
Specific responsibilities revolve around building test cases from use cases. The desired candidate would have experience building test cases by identifying data combinations and determining expected results. Experience with proven methodologies is a plus.
This is a testing analyst role not a test script creation & execution role. In this role you will be working with testers informing on what & how to test a given function.
At least 7 years of testing industry experience across all major phases of testing (assembly, integration and system testing)
Extensive experience with test design techniques including equivalence class partitioning, boundary value, decision tables, structured basis path and pair-wise testing analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to establish professional relationships
Expert knowledge of QA/Test methodologies (including test design techniques), test planning, and defect resolution processes.
Experience with creating and maintaining testing standards, procedures, test models and metrics.
Must be able to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure environment where meeting deadlines is critical.
Strong knowledge of development SDLC and Test methodologies
Working knowledge of the following technologies / skill sets is necessary:
Mercury Quality Center
Mercury Quick Test Pro
Winrunner, LoadRunner
Proficiency in writing SQL queries
DOORS experience is desired
Must have the following qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or Engineering is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will be responsible for documenting, identifying & defining the processes, procedures and managing the delivery of the following:
Document Test Plans for all phases of testing
Determine most appropriate Test Design Techniques
Write and execute Test Cases and Test Scripts
May be asked to review work of other testers or lead a team of testers though various phases of testing; Functional, Integration, Regression, and System Testing
Research standard quality assurance practices and assess which practices would be beneficial to our environment
Define, document and track SLAs/Metrics
Analyze and document test results. Track defects.
Support testing tools
Promote knowledge sharing across the team
Ensure team?s understanding of how modules integrate with other modules and with the system as a whole.
