Our Client, an Information Technology firm located in Downtown Manhattan, is in immediate need for an experienced Help Desk Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will be working in an environment dealing with technical issues as they arise. This is a contract with potential to hire. The Help Desk Analyst must be a quick thinker and learner, someone that is comfortable working in a team as well as working alone.
The Help Desk Analyst will provide technical expertise to the environment but must also possess great people skills in training the end users on future issues. </font color="maroon"> <br><br>

Experience: <u>Knowledge and Experience in the following is required:</u> <br>
• Experience working as a Help Desk Analyst<br>
• Excellent costumer support skills<br>
• Advanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot<b> Windows 2000/XP </B>operating systems<BR>
• Working with <b>MS Server and Exchange 2000/2003</b> a definite plus. <br>
• Extensive understanding of <b>MS Office 2000/2003</B><BR> including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>
• Advanced knowledge of remote access applications and troubleshooting. Proven computer hardware troubleshooting experience. <BR>
• Knowledge of <b>Citrix, Palm Pilots, and Blackberry devices </b> and software. <BR>
• Experience troubleshooting Printers (both network and stand alones). <BR>
•Ability to escalate more difficult technical issues to appropriate levels of support. <BR>
