BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T's Central Technology Business Services Organization, the Project Analyst III would be part of the business relationship management team that would support the Retail Bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate Business Services Customer Relationships through active participation and involvement in the management of the Customers (Retail & Business Banking) Project Portfolio. Work with Customers and the Customer Project Offices to identify and act on business priorities.
Ensure open and on-going communication between business lines and technology through bi-weekly meetings with the Business and Technology teams.
Facilitate progress on the priorities of the Customers Project Portfolio (Retail & Business Banking) through on-going active participation and involvement in the coordination of technical & functional resource availability
Work closely with Business Analysts to maintain accurate details of the customer project portfolio
Assist the client in addressing problems/issues of any scope. Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and make recommendations
May project manage small to medium scope efforts
Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented
Facilitate the activation of a project (SAR requests, resource availability, priority, communication)
Project tracking through updates, documentation and reporting
Analyses and reports on monthly project portfolio financials.
Work to identify and resolve issues and anomalies
Facilitate monthly pool re-forecast
Participates/drives the annual discretionary planning process for customers (Retail & Business Banking)
Maintain an 18-month rolling Project Portfolio list
Synchronize the three-year roadmap with the Retail Project Portfolio
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or above or have 4+ years experience in a related environment
Proven analytical, project management, organization and time management sills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with personnel in various organizational positions
Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Good understanding of the Retail & Business Banking processes and operations
Broadly based experience across M&T's technical and business organizations
High aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution
Understands development processes and technical concepts
Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments
Detail orientated
