Fast growing technology company is looking for a Systems Consultant with a minimum of 4 years of experience to support the North Eastern Region. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a growing company providing valuable insight and contributing to the companys success.



Systems Consultants provide in-depth technical product assistance during pre-sales discussions, including product demonstrations. As part of the product sale, may provide consulting services to customers, such as product training, design and implementation expertise. This position blends a unique skill set of technical know-how along with excellent customer skills. As new avenues for product sales become available, such as new partner agreements, this position will play a role in developing key relations and consulting opportunities. This position will be based out of your home, but will require regional travel to client sites.



The qualified candidate must possess good communication and organizational skills in addition to the following:



*Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience and training required.

*Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in real-life enterprise environments required, specifically with Microsoft Active Directory. Expertise with other Microsoft products including Exchange, SQL, SMS, IIS and MIIS are preferred.

*At least 2 years of consulting experience and technical sales support in a commercial environment.

*Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required. Strong writing and speaking abilities necessary to present complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to various levels of a technical and business audience. Must have the ability to handle groups of people in presentation and classroom training situations.

*Excellent problem solving skills required. Must have the ability to resolve complex pre-sales technical problems, and discovering solutions to work in diverse customer environments.

*Excellent project management and organizational skills needed. Must have the ability to prioritize and estimate time needed to accomplish tasks.

*Knowledge of software product development processes desired.

*Extensive travel required (greater than 50%).



The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:



*Provides assistance on sales activities requiring advanced technical product knowledge.

*Provide consulting services, including design, deployment, and training.

*Assist customers and prospects in resolving highly technical problems.

*Maintains an advanced technical understanding of products and technology.

*May provide work leadership to more junior technical support staff.
