BASIC FUNCTION:
As part of M&T's Central Technology Business Services Organization, the Project Analyst III would be part of the business relationship management team that would support the Retail Bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate Business Services responsibilities for the Retail Bank's Branch Infrastructure environment and test lab. The position plays a strategic role in maintaining continuity and standards across the branch infrastructure.
Infrastructure Responsibilities:
Primary liaison between the Retail Bank and Technology Infrastructure Projects
Managing communications, coordination and planning efforts related to acquisitions, branch opening/closings and relocations, projects implementing new technology, equipment life cycle planning and project execution
Facilitate the development and maintenance of the Retail Branch Infrastructures capital plan (servers, printers, PC's)
Represents business interests and insures minimal business impact during project execution
Test Lab Responsibilities:
Ability to create, maintain and enhance the branch test lab environment
Ability to facilitate testing schedules and establishes testing environments as required for Business Analysis for application and infrastructure driven testing
Facilitate bandwidth testing for departments seeking to use the branch network to distribute information and applications
Demonstrated strong project management experience. Ability to manage large-scale projects, coordinate cross functional groups, resources, tasks and project plans. Ability to manage several concurrent projects
Ability to leverage and work with matrix resources within Retail Business Services, the Retail Bank, Network management, internal clients, support areas, and vendors
Effectively use organizational, interpersonal, analytical and technical skills to evaluate client requirements and processes. Ability to reach/achieve a ?group consensus?, between disparate business and/or technology areas. Possess superior verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively present to the target audience
Identify skill sets of people who can do the work required for the project and obtain commitment of their time from their managers. Directs and monitors resources, ensures completion of schedules. Applies pressure on a regular basis for the project to move forward.
Recognizes technical, business and operational impacts of a project. Brings issues to resolution and escalates issues or concerns to the Project Sponsor
Schedules and facilitates project meetings, publishes meeting minutes, tracks impact and issue documents.
May coordinate or perform system troubleshooting and/or problem resolution.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or above or have 4+ years experience in position requiring a high level of technical and project expertise
Proven analytical, project management, organization and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience
Proficient in the use of MS Office applications
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, able to effectively manage and optimize their time
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional customer service demeanor
Must be able to handle quickly changing direction and priorities
Detail oriented, uses, uses sound judgment, is proactive and self motivated

Ability to understand interactions and interdependencies of systems and processes and to accurately identify the end user impact associated with change to any of the systems/processes
