The role of the JDE EnterpriseOne Developer is to provide technical development support for the EnterpriseOne IT/Business implementation. This is a hands-on position -- you will meet with users to develop requirements and will then develop the solution, alone or in a team environment, through implementation. Good written and oral communication skills and a thorough understanding of general business principles is a must. This individual will be responsible for identifying and documenting customer needs, processes, and requirements; developing technical designs and specifications for complex projects; creating, coding, testing, and debugging computer programs; developing test plans; and responding to and analyzing user inquires regarding program problems. <p>
Responsibilities<br>
To be successful in this job, the individual must have broad technological expertise and be able to execute the following:<br>
1. Identifying and defining user business needs, processes, and requirements and prepare functional specifications documents.<br>
2. Developing technical designs and specifications for projects.<br>
3. Creating and coding computer programs based on functional and technical specifications.<br>
4. Developing test plans and verifying the operation of computer programs through testing and debugging code in accordance with the established test plan.<br>
5. Responding to and analyzing user inquiries regarding program problems.<br>
6. Performing related responsibilities as required or assigned.<br>
7. Adheres to department programming standards and methodology<br>
8. Provides programming support through all testing phases and general releases of the software.<p>

Experience: <b>1. JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.1x programming experience – minimum of five (5) years related experience.<br>
2. Complete understanding and use of: Object Management Workbench, Address Book, Financials (A/P, A/R, F/A, G/L) and Job Cost, and a strong knowledge of the relationships between the database tables in the various modules.</b><br>
3. Visual Basic 6.0, C and C++ experience.<br>
4. Strong knowledge of software architectures.<br>
5. Knowledge of prototyping tools.<br>
6. Proficiency in database architecture and design.<br>
7. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field, and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience with JDE EnterpriseOne.<p>
