As a Unix C++ Sybase Developer, you will enhance and support Funding, Whole Loan, Private Lending, and Asset Management technology initiatives. This is a great opportunity for a UNIX C++ Guru to pick up Investment Banking domain experience!

REPORTS TO: Director of the Bank Loan Trading Technology team

Duties/Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support new features in the Unix C++ servicing application for our expanding bank loans, conduits, and whole loans businesses
Enhance processes responsible for books & records postings
Frequent interaction and exposure with Senior Management as we continue to roll out Funding applications for Loans
Research and resolve complex support issues
Interact with other technologists and operations users
Solve challenging architectural problems, like providing scale to handle heavy trade volumes

Experience: Required Background/Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related discipline
5+ years of C++ development experience on a UNIX platform
Solid relational database skills

Major Pluses to Have

Experience with Sybase
Investment Management experience
JAVA, JSP, and Perl skills
