My client is in need of a <b>Trade Floor Support Candidate </b> with <b>Market Data Application </b> experience. Minimum of 3+ experience supporting technology for a trading floor environment and market data applications such as Reuters 3000 Xtra Kobra, Bloomberg, CQG, Ice, Pricelink, Powerplus tools. High level of proficiency in XP, Vista, any flavor of Linux Red hat, Macintosh machines, Citrix Metaframe, MS office products (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook), Altiris Deployment server/Notification server, Altiris Client Management and Active Directory. Basic understanding and support for DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP. Ability to support Nortel phones, Cisco IP Phones and BT turrets, Video conference equipment. Understanding of Citrix Applications, Internet Trading Applications, configuration and support of RIM Blackberry devices, Administration of Domain profiles, Outlook profiles, VPN and various other applications

Experience: <b><u><font color= "#3399CC">Trade Floor Support Responsibilities: </font color= "#3399CC"></u></b><br><ul>
<li> Primary desktop support for New York office <br>
<li> Perform administrative tasks on the regional PC network. <br>
<li> Primary support for Reuter&#146;s backend network infrastructure in the New York office. <br>
<li> Provide first level support for network tape backup server. Maintain scheduled backup jobs, review nightly jobs for completion status, restore data as requested. Physically load the tapes, monitor the job, unload tapes and arrange for off-site storage.<br>
<li> Provide first level support and maintain voice recording server. Rotate tape on an as needed basis.<br>
<li> Perform physical computer moves, add, moves and changes for Nortel phones, BT turrets and PC equipment.<br>
<li> Enter, update and close tickets for support calls into the centralized call tracking system.<br>
<li> Train end users on effectively utilizing desktop hardware and software applications. <br>
