Candidates must have at least two years experience as a web developer, preferably at an interactive agency or a dotcom. He/she must have experience in modern Web user interface development techniques (i.e., A List Apart, liquid layouts, Jeffrey Zeldman) and top-notch communication skills. A proven ability to learn quickly and perform well in a high-pressure environment is a requirement, as is some experience with high-traffic, high-profile Websites.<p>
The Web Developer is not a Flash developer, database administrator, technical support representative, or designer. While experience in those disciplines is a plus, we are looking for candidates whose <b>core competency is XHTML/CSS/JavaScript based Web interface development.

Experience: Candidates should have an expert command of the following: <br>
• XHTML / CSS, and using Adobe Photoshop to manually cut PSDs (No WYSIWYG editors, no Dreamweaver, no FrontPage. Period.)<br>
• JavaScript and animation/AJAX frameworks (Prototype, Scriptaculous, Dojo, JQuery)<br>
• Developing HTML emails (using TABLE and FONT elements for maximum compatibility)<br>
• Integrating XHTML containers with Flash, and using JavaScript to communicate<br>
• XML / XSL<p>
As the Web Developer is responsible for integrating UI with back-end, he/she should have some experience with the following: <br>
• Classic ASP<br>
• PHP<br>
• SQL<p>
