• A self starter who is always willing to roll up his sleeves, get down and dirty and do whatever it takes to accomplish the task at hand.
• Excellent computer based trouble shooting skills a must
• A thorough working knowledge of Windows XP and Vista desktop operating systems, Windows 2000 and 2003 Server, Active Directory, and Network resources such as group shares and network printers. (Certifications a plus)
• The ability to build a personal computer from parts and make the necessary repairs and upgrades to hardware, software, and firmware.
• Knowledge of Symantec Ghost or similar imaging product
• A good working knowledge of TCP/IP, routers, switches, broadband access and VPN
• PBX maintenance for phone adds, moves and changes
• Ability to patch, trace and punch down Cat 5e wiring
• Light HTML for website updates
• Lotus Notes, Blackberry, VMWare and Citrix experience a big plus
