Investment management firm seeks a Database Administrator with at least three years. The candidate will be responsible for addressing programming needs, designing reports based on the Crystal engine, supporting our website, maintaining and administering the various databases on MS SQL server, assisting and/or overseeing the sourcing, installation, and implementation of various systems, and troubleshooting and solving help desk issues. The candidate must have a solid knowledge of database architecture, SQL, procedural programming, and object oriented programming languages, and must be capable of automating financial/managerial reporting processes. The candidate should have a high attention to detail and the appropriate industry certifications relevant to firm technology (MCP, CCNA, etc.), technical knowledge of Visual Basic, .NET, ASP, Perl and Crystal reports, Excel, SQL-Server, and MYSQL, and application knowledge of Bloomberg, Wall Street Office, and Thomson Portia. Experience in a financial services firm and an interest in developing a greater understanding of business and finance is required.<p>
