Business Analyst (Mutual Fund SME)
In-depth knowledge of mutual funds including breakpoints, ROA, LOI and related elements. Experience working with electronic mutual fund order entry systems is required.
Knowledge of mutual fund operations, clearing & settlement, trade processing, compliance and regulatory issues
Responsibilities:
All aspects of the project including:
. Coordinate meetings
. Working with end users in requirements gathering
. Drafting business requirement and functional specification documents, publishing minutes of meetings
. Maintaining project plans
. Ensuring complete test scripts are developed by the QA team
. Coordinate activities with IT
. Use guide preparation/training (may be required for some projects)
Experience: Candidate is required to have strong project management and business analysis skills as well as specific business experience to support a given project.
. Business experience would need to be prior working experience, generally not gained specifically through a prior analysis project.
. Hands on operations and/or management experience from which the skills/knowledge was gained (generally the folks would have transitioned to project management/analysis some time in the career).
. Looking to leverage the prior working knowledge of the candidate to serve as a subject matter expert in support of the project, thus would expect that the candidates are senior analysts.
Candidate needs to be proficient in the basic MS Office applications as well as MS VISIO. There would not be a junior staff to support the candidate-for the most part the individual would need to perform all these tasks.
