Project Manager/Lead in NEW YORK, NY

Job Description:

Direct and co-ordinate delivery of high quality solutions proposals , within agreed timescales, that meets business needs
Work with subject matter experts from company’s IT and supply lines and with external agencies to provide specialist solutions when appropriate
Work with Strategy teams to establish appropriate technology asset and solutions within this, producing justifications when necessary
Engage with the business at early stages of life cycle and ensure system design takes account of infrastructure and infrastructure directions
Work with US & Canada Company’s IT to ensure company’s IT proposals are embedded within business TDO
Review appropriateness of solutions at the end of design stage
Review and challenge quotations outputs
Work with the quotations manager to populate a “Catalogue” of these products”
Work with platform owners to develop robust cost-of-ownership models
Provide high-level estimates of projected Costs for input to business proposals in response to Project Initiation Proposals (PIP)
Develop a working relationship with business areas
Actively champion process improvements in line with company&#146;s IT Services Framework<p>

Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience , requiring the use of a broad range of IT strategies
Detailed understanding company&#146;s IT Technology, its functions and Services
Co-operate, collaborate and innovate to spread best practice
Excellent track record in the creation and development of technical architecture around specific technologies
Acknowledged expertise in delivering infrastructure solutions in support of major Business and company&#146;s IT projects
Ability to operate across a range of platforms and technologies
Track record of influencing peers, managers, and external business contacts
Must be highly delivered focused
Capable of operating with agreed policies and standards for technology , and track record of contributing to development of these
A team player who has the ability to influence at all levels
Excellent communication and influencing skills so that business areas buy into processes
Must have a flexible approach
Ability to bring together and lead a virtual teams of SMEs to deliver solutions<p>
