We have an immediate need for a Deskside Support Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI Business Solutions currently has an immediate opening for a long term Deskside Support Technician with our client in Rochester, NY.
Duties and skills include:
Provides technical end-user troubleshooting and training for Microsoft Office, email, data security, administrative products and other desktop software.
Perform help desk duties responding to end user inquires and maintaining the call ticketing system.
Perform PC-related hardware and software support including installation, configuration and maintenance.
PC hardware and Microsoft certifications preferred.
2+ years of technical support and customer service experience in a MS Windows environment with exposure to Microsoft operating systems, Office suite products, e-mail, remote access, anti-virus, anti-spam and other security software required. Must also be familiar with Vista.
Must be team orientation, have a service orientation, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
