Robert Half Technology is currently looking for a Technical Analyst with Banner Finance experience. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for implementation of a Banner 8.x ERP Finance system. The technical analyst will work with functional leaders across the institution as an expert in analyzing and assessing their needs and identifying the appropriate solutions within the Banner ERP environment. Responsibilities include working with DBA, developer, and system admin resources to define and implement the best technical solutions. To be consider, the incumbent will have a minimum of three years of work experience in a Finance environment , MUST have knowledge of Banner 6.x (and above) or comparable ERP Finance systems and strong business process analysis skills. Experience: Experience in the following areas: General Ledger, Financial Operations, Purchasing and Procurement, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Student Finances
Experience with use case analysis, process mapping, and data flows
Understanding of an ERP-based administrative application architecture, including integration with third party software
Experience supporting data mapping, conversion, and clean-up efforts
Background in developing reporting requirements and using reporting tools to develop and test complex reports
Experience developing test cases and leading technical and functional resource through test cycles
Knowledge of PL/SQL, Business Objects / Crystal Reports
