BASIC FUNCTION:M&T Bank has a great opportunity available in Retail Sales & Service Automation Group within our Technology division. The Project Analyst II would assist the client in addressing problems and/or issues of any scope, identify feasible solutions and make recommendations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the client in addressing problems/ issues of any scope. Analyzes information, determines feasible solutions and make recommendations.Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations to fulfill business requirements. Converts business requirements into functional specifications and functions designs. Plays a key role and an individual contributor on projects.May project manage small to medium scope efforts, direct junior resources and coordinate tasks.Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented.Develops test plans and scripts; performs client testing for routine to complex processes to ensure proper system functioning.Provides consultation services to clients, technicians and Bank departments on basic to intricate functions of supported mainframe or distributes applications.Maintains a thorough understanding of the business being supported and its functions, processes, operations and strategic direction. Maintains a detailed functional understanding of the supported application(s).BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree or 4 years experience in technology / systems analysis environment.Proven analytical, project management, organization and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to interact with personnel in various organizational positions.Solid experience with Excel, Word and other MS Office applicationsIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:Good understanding of Retail Web Banking, Telephone Banking Center business and operations along with WEB technologies.Experience with automation of the internet and integration with Hogan systems. Hogan knowledge is a plus.High aptitude for complex problem analysis and resolution. Understands development processes and technical concepts.Able to handle multiple tasks in support of various assignments.
