Experienced Network Administrator needed to install and maintain mixed OS environment across multiple locations. This also includes documenting the current systems, troubleshooting, implementing/upgrading software/hardware, and testing.
This is a mixed environment of PC and MAC clients and servers. Experience with both types of systems in an integrated environment is required. The ACSA candidate will also have LAN/WAN experience with design, installation, configuration and troubleshooting for Cisco router and switches in an enterprise network. Additional work after normal business hours or weekends may be required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail, Internet access, and applications support).
• Monitors and troubleshoots communication lines
• Manages hardware and software roll out to ensure optimal deployment
• Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure
• Assists with technology planning through ongoing research
Stays current with emerging technologies
Experience: Requirements:
4 Year Degree in Computer Science or MIS required.
Strong analytical skills are required. 5+ years of experience as a mixed environment network administrator or engineer. Bachelor degree in Technology, Engineering or similar focus is required.

• Windows Server 2003 and 2008
• Advanced XServ and OSX server management
• Magic triangle (AD/OD) support and management
• Backup maintenance
• Managing 400+ node network across several locations
• Hardware and software documentation
• Cisco and HP Switches and routers
• Wireless networks in an enterprise environment
• SonicWall
• Radius with MAC authentication
• Migrating Server and Desktop systems to new applications / hardware
• Creating and testing images for Mac and Windows clients
• First Class e-mail software
Certifications a plus:
• ACSA is highly desired
• A+, Net+, MCP or CCNA
