Our client a large Investment Bank is looking for a Cash Equities/UNIX Trade floor support consultant.

Provide first line trading systems support for the US Equities trading floor Duties include - user liaison, client application functionality support, user training, troubleshooting, development of support procedures, system testing and implementation . First Line support for NY based order management systems for US Equities. Duties include resolution of order management issues by liasing with development and infrastructure teams. . First Line support for Equities trades booking system - Duties include resolution of trade booking errors caused by system issues and impacting the trading clients. . First line support for in-house Exchange Management system. Duties include management and resolution of exchange connectivity issues, Liaison with exchanges, Trade reporting and reconciliation assistance.
Work Experience: 5 + years Trading Applications Support experience within a financial institution, on the Trading Floor
Equities Markets knowledge; Equities Trading applications support experience including UNIX and SQL ; Trade Floor support experience
Desirable Skills:
Equities and Derivatives Sales and Trading knowledge Exchange Connectivity and Order Management knowledge.
Program Trading business knowledge.
Experience: UNIX, SQL, Cash equities Trade floor support
