A well know financial services company based out of New York City is looking for a Network Systems Engineer. The Infrastructure Engineer will be dedicated to working with hosting partners to facilitate physical hardware design, hardware acquisition, environment creation, capacity planning, added troubleshooting, failover monitoring experience, networking experience, sharepoint experience and software licensing. The candidate will interface with Bank of America's ET & D team, as well as defining the hardware and software design of the web servers. The candidate should be familiar working with SUN, IBM, & LINUX servers, Weblogic and Websphere across multiple locations. The candidate will be participating in the design, development and implementation of the infrastructure of the applications. Candidate must be flexible to work off hours and weekends to support projects. Developing technical application guidelines, standards and tools, providing consulting input to the application evelopment teams and integration guidance on technical directions. Should Have 5-10 years working with BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere,Sun Servers, Solaris 2.8/Linux/AIX. An understanding of java or background preferred...there willl be no development.
