Description Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager Location: New York, NY Type of Position: ContractSenior project manager, responsible for managing and coordination of the build out multi tier/platform production parallel environment. This includes coordination of the build-out activities across Mainframe and Distributed technologies like Websphere, MQ, SQL 2005, .Net, Java etc.Position will be responsible for coordinating activities across 10+ teams, managing and creating project deliverables, including but not limited to project plan, implementation plan, issues, risks, dependencies, resource plans, milestones, status report, team meetings, etc. Required skills: Strong PM with 7-9 years + experience in IT industry managing large technical projects. Experience managing infrastructure projects a must, with exposure to Data Center technologies, Network, Storage, Databases, Firewalls etc. Strong understanding of infrastructure Strong Project management skills and experience with all project management deliverables Exposure and understanding of Environment management, Change Management and Release procedures etc. Ability to manage multiple groups and drive the tasks to completion under very aggressive timelines Must be A player.
