We are looking to bring on a seasoned Application Developer to work at our Poughkeepsie NY site. The selected candidate will be responsible for P/series based HPC stack and clustering software customer service fixes (APARs) and fix packages (PTFs) prior to being release for general availability to the field. PTFs are packaged and tested for both AIX and Linux distributions. Candidate will execute test instructions and regression test suites provided by software development teams. Candidate will be required to set up the test case to run in service test system environment. Minor alterations using execution scripts is will be required. Candidate will be running parallel jobs to test POE using MPI and LAPI message passing libraries both interactively and through the LoadLeveler job scheduling software. Candidate will also be testing HPS (Federation) and Infiniband network subsystems on IBM Power4 and Power5 clusters. Candidate will also be testing LoadL in the BlueGene/L system. Some system admin is required, including AIX and Linux maintenance installation. The selected candidate will receive an outstanding benefits package and a competitive salary.
