Prime Brokerage Senior Programmer Analyst!! to $130k+ - in New York, NY

Industry leading financial corporation has an immediate need for the right Senior Programmer Analyst to join their prime brokerage team. This is a high visibility, full-time, permanent position that would allow constant interaction with department heads and executive management and would offer a base of up to $130K/yr plus competitive bonus! In this position, you will work directly under the IT Manager and will be have a heavy amount of input in terms of system support, design, and team mentorship. Due to these duties, someone with an in-depth knowledge of FIX protocol, STP experience, full life cycle development experience, project management, and system architecture experience would be ideal. You must have strong Capital Market product knowledge (equity/ fixed income), experience on the broker-dealer side of the business, hands-on development experience with trading and messaging systems on the Front, Middle and Back Office arenas, and excellent development experience in .NET technologies (.NET, VB.NET, C#) and either Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server. Java, VB, and C++ skills would be a plus. External client support experience would be a plus, as frequent interaction with high-level corporate clients is expected.
