Programmer
UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking a Programmer to join our Albany, NY team. The Computer Programmer shall be responsible for the following:
. Provided programming services in HTML, ASP and Visual Basic using Visual Studio 6.0, Transact-SQL and stored procedure using MS SQL Server 2000, Crystal Reports 9.0 +, MS .Net Technologies and Visual C#;
. Analyze complex business problems and implement solutions.
. Provide, as needed, evaluation, maintenance and upgrades;
. Be responsible for project management to ensure that each project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner; and
. Provide documentation, appropriate knowledge transfer, source code, and test data/results where applicable.
To be considered for the position, candidates must possess the following skills and experiences:
. BA in Computer Science or related discipline;
. Three plus years of work experience in Information Technology;
. Demonstrated strong skills and proficiency in the following: HTML, ASP and Visual Basic programming using Visual Studio 6.0, Transact-SQL and stored procedure programming using MS SQL Server 2000, Crystal Reports 9.0 +, MS .Net Technologies and programming with Visual C#;
. Ability to analyze complex business problems and implement solutions; and
. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
