No H1's Position Purpose: Provide software development for .NET, C++ (emphasis on), VB Series, and web-based software projects within BANKLINK. Essential Responsibilities: ? Participate in all technical aspects of software projects including project planning, developing estimates, technical design, code construction, integration/regression testing, and any related technical documentation. ? Work with customer support groups within BANKLINK to assist customers with production issues to ensure that service levels are met. ? Work closely with Product Management and other departments to help define project requirements and offer technical implications of project decisions. ? Assist in software testing, release planning and management, and production release so that BANKLINK internal quality standards are met. Skills and Qualifications The qualified candidate for this position must have the following technical skills and experiences: ? Minimum of 7 years of application development experience. ? Minimum of 5 years work experience designing and developing web interfaces with several of the following presentation technologies: VB Script, ASP, JSP, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML, XML, XSL. ? Minimum of 3 years work experience with Visual Basic. ? Minimum of 3 years work experience ASP.NET development. ? Minimum of 3 years work experience C/C++ development. ? .NET Remoting work experience ? Minimum of 2 years work experience C# development. ? Minimum of 2 years work experience with relational database systems and SQL such as: Oracle, Microsoft SQL. ? Minimum of 2 years of full lifecycle (design, development, coding, testing, & deployment) application development experience on 2 or more software projects lasting 6 months or more. ? Solid understanding of Object Oriented design principles ? Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills. ? Development experience with transaction-based applications within banking industry. ? Strong interpersonal skills such that this individual can: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions from user groups within BANKLINK, Take an efficient and hands-on approach for supporting and working with QA during testing, Effectively work with BANKLINK Customer Service to assist in troubleshooting customer production problems. ? Outstanding work ethic; displays a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. ? A high sense of responsibility to our customers, our users, our colleagues, and to the quality and timeliness of ones own work; a willingness and desire to do what it takes to support BANKLINK?s systems sometimes during non-standard work hours. Ability to work independently. Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Ideal candidate will also have: ? Previous development and maintenance experience in an ASP (Application Service Provider) organization that builds, hosts, and supports the applications they develop in a production environment. Preferably in an organization providing services to the banking industry. ? Application development experience on Tandem systems and COBOL.
