Video Software Technical Sales Support Engineer in New York, NY

This position will support numerous clients. Duties include:

participation in client sales meetings
demonstration of the product and answering client questions from pre-sales to closing
designing and sourcing of system components (spec solutions)
managing and executing hardware and software installation
providing comprehensive technical support through multi-year support contracts as well as providing on going on site customer support as is necessary


Desired Experience:

2+ years supporting Windows 2000, XP, Unix, Mac OSX
2+ years supporting Microsoft SQL Server, additional SQL databases
2+ years experience with broadcast level video production
2+ years experience with Windows networking
Audio/Video engineering experience a plus
Experience with SAN and RAID terabyte plus storage systems is critical
Experience with multi-terabyte backup solutions
Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, and
related fields preferred.
Expert knowledge of multimedia solutions and/or media studio
production and post-production is a big plus
