Software Tester in Pittsford, NY

We are currently recruiting for a software Test Engineer(s) with a strong background in testing complex applications in a fast-paced environment at an exciting rapidly growing company. Responsibilities include the testing of new products and updates using defined test procedures. Write test plans and test cases Set up complex IVR and database test environments. Manage the tracking and resolution of technical issues at both feature and project levels. Configure and enhance automated tests and test tools for IVR type applications. Participate in the documentation process for new and updated products. Troubleshoot product quality issues. Provide 3rd Tier support as needed for field engineers. BS Computer Science or equivalent experience. Two or more years experience in software development or testing software applications. Strong knowledge of QA processes and methodologies. Knowledge of multiple operating system platforms (LINUX/UNIX, Windows). Solid experience with TCP/IP networking. SQL and familiarity with databases. Experience in developing test scripts and tools using Perl, Shell, etc. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, & C/C++. VoiceXML a plus. Strong problem analysis and solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management and multitasking skills. Ability to work well in a dynamic fast paced team environment. Must be self-motivated.
