Our client is a GLOBAL Investment Bank and they are looking for an Active Directory & Server Specialist to help in the rebuilding of their infrastructure.
Key Skills Include:
- 2003 Active Directory Detailed Design & Support
- Integration with Exchange, GreatPlains, Altiris Management Suite, LDAP
- IBM Hardware, Servers, SAN, NAS & Desktops (Director platform)
- VMWare Server & ESX version 3
- Tivoli Storage Manager
- Detailed knowledge of SQL 2000 / 2005
- Supporting offices around the globe with fast changing requirements in a demanding company
- Systems support knowledge on Windows Servers and Cisco Networks (with Avaya VoIP) including NetScreen & Nokia Checkpoint firewall support
Role requirements:
- Design and Manage worldwide Active Directory Schema
- Manage Exchange environment
- Manage IBM Server platforms, VMWare Server & ESX, Tivoli Backup
- Mange IBM SAN & NAS devices around the globe (mostly from base location)
- Manage IIS WebServers, ISA Servers & SurfControl secure internet access
- Provide technical focal point to Desktop Support teams (3rd tier support)
- Ability to work with leading edge technology and learn new skills quickly
- Ability to knowledge share with team members
- Knowledge of Firewalls, Intrusion Detection & Prevention appliances, VPN Concentrators, SecurID, TACACS/Radius.
- Coordinate resolution of issues with 3rd parties responsible for server hosting
Required Experience:
- Current MSCE including Exchange & SQL as electives
- IBM Hardware Accreditation
- Previous and demonstrable experience of large Active Directory designs
- Considerable experience at this level
Desirable
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Security technologies
