A large well known media company has a need for a Sr. Level Sharepoint configuration expert with solid .NET developer background for a 12 months plus position here in NYC. The key is to have a strong 2003 Sharepoint background and working knowledge of the latest Beta release of MOSS-(Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server)2007 version and detailed working knowledge of their API's. Candidates lacking the MOSS experience at a high level will not be accepted. Their environment is approx 100 sites with some being very complex. Many API's in use for data management. They are looking at how to migrate all sites from Sharepoint 2003 to MOSS. They are also looking to remove as much custom code as possible and utilize more of the MOSS feature. This is a very high paced environment were our lead would be expected to interface directly with internal users for the purpose of building out sites on demand. Their focus is work groups/collaboration.
