Project Management Officers (PMO) Infrastructure in New York, NY

We are currently searching for 2 Project Management Officers, responsible for supporting Project Managers in delivery of their projects, and all reporting requirements with a direct reporting line into PMO Manager.
This role will be supporting Project Managers within the Fixed Income IT area in New York and/or Parsippany, NJ.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Collation of consistent, accurate project status reporting for their local areas.
- To provide PM support, training and development (centre of excellence)
- Monitor the budget and headcount for the areas, assist with maintaining of resource plan and forecast and org structure charts.
- Track and monitor project progress for all projects within the area.
- Ensure adherence to central processes and quality check data provided
- Will be trained as super users of the new project server tool
- Provide the central PMO with appropriate information for consolidation
- Provide their TLT member with reports to meet their requirements
- To support and instill project best practice across the group
- To facilitate ad-hoc project query requests from colleagues
- To produce consistently good quality presentations and steering committee documentation
- To track open Audit points for the area and manage deliverables.
- To work with the central COO function to ensure the smooth running of processes and procedures
- Using past industry/PM experience conduct project reviews, highlight potential gaps and feedback to PMs and management Experience: Qualifications /Education:
- Degree (or equivalent)
- Project Management accreditation

Experience required:
- 3+ years Project Management experience
- Strong knowledge of Project Office and Project Management skills
- Demonstrate experience of running and delivering small to medium size IT projects
- Advance use of Microsoft Excel and planning tools (Microsoft Project)
- Strong financial management experience
- Superior communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders
- Experience with project management best practices/ methodologies/ project lifecycle
- Proven analyst
- Ability to network and influence others without direct oversight and supervision
- Strong communicator to upward management and peers
- Prior experience of working in a corporate banking environment

Skills and Knowledge:
- Microsoft Project (ideally Project Server)
- Microsoft Office suite - in particular MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong analysis skills
- Strong team player
- Confident, able to communicate and negotiate at all levels
- Able to multi-task and prioritise
- A proactive individual who is able to act on initiative
