The architecture team uses a mixture of technologies and languages. This position will initially be focused on user interface development using C#.NET and Windows Forms. We are willing to train in C# if a developer has C++ experience.
Experience: ? Participate in design, development and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
o Participate in creation of technical specifications
o Develop applications in C++, C# and/or Java
o Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and creation of QA test plans
? Solve issues and find solutions to problems in framework (.NET, Java, C++)
? Provide advice and support to team members, business centers and other application teams in usage of framework applications and APIs
? Evaluate relevant new technologies for possible integration into the framework.
? Responsible for the timely completion and delivery of projects.
Strong object oriented design and analytical skills
Ability to demonstrate problem solving abilities.
Solid knowledge of Windows platforms and associated applications and utilities.
Experience with Solaris desirable.
In depth knowledge of C# or C++.
Knowledge of Microsoft .NET and Windows Forms or MFC/Windows API
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas to other team members and internal or external clients. Innovative and self motivated.
Experience with any of the following technologies desirable:
o C++ development on UNIX esp Solaris
o Java and Java Servlet API, HTTP
o Web Services
o Microsoft Office development
o Tomcat and/or other Application Servers
