RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will be responsible for the development of security software for family of IDS/IPS products. The engineer will develop Data Plane / Control Plane software for one of the following module: IPV6, TCP/IP, Network Address Translation, Firewall.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BE/ME (Computer Science) with minimum of 6+years of experience.
- Experience in developing security software for a realtime OS, preferably VxWorks.
- Strong 'C' Programming skills.
- Working Experience in socket programming & various IPC mechanisms
- Should have experience in multi-threaded programming on Linux/Unix
- Experience in Working with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS like VxWorks)
- Working knowledge of IPv4/IPV6 a must.
- Detailed understanding of TCP/IP fragmentation, segmentation, reassembly and TCP internals.
- Knowledge of traffic generation and analysis tools such as tcpdump/tcpreplay, ethereal, smartbits.
- Prior Experience in firewall, NAT, VPN , IDS/IPS on Multiprocessor SoC platforms will be preferable.
- Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills.
