Title: Programmer and Business Analyst
Location: Albany, NY 12201

Duration: 18 months
Rate: Hourly. Open to negotiations.
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
Scope:
We have an opportunity to place 2 developers and 1 business analyst for 18 months each, details follow.
Two Developer positions with the following mandatory requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, laptop; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in developing and deploying applications in a J2EE application server environment.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in Enterprise Java Development (J2EE) including: JDBC, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (.jsp), JavaScript, Enterprise Java Beans, Secure Socket Layers (SSL), cookies, 128-bit encryption.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in Oracle 8i (or above) SQL databases.
The following is "desirable" (not mandatory) experience:
1. Experience in software development in Web applications and maintenance programming.
2. Experience in developing / maintaining BEA WebLogic applications.
3. Experience in translating business needs into system requirements and documentation.
4. Experience in object oriented design (OOD)
5. Experience in automated regression tools.
6. Experience using a Struts framework.
7. Experience using the Java "Swing" library of GUI controls.
8. Experience in developing use cases.

One Business Analyst with the following mandatory requirements:
1. A minimum of four (4) years experience in performing business process analysis and re-engineering.
2. A minimum of four (4) years experience in conducting JAD sessions, focus groups or Individual interviews; determining business, technical and data requirements; developing business rules; and developing metadata.
3. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design of which a minimum of two (2) years must have been in UML (Unified Modeling Language) using standard UML techniques such as use case, activity, sequence, class, and component diagrams.
4. A minimum of three (3) years experience in developing test plans and creating and executing automated test scripts using test management tools and tracking and addressing defects identified in testing and production.
5. A minimum of two (years ) experience in using automated regression testing tools.
The following is "desirable" (not mandatory) experience:
1. Experience in analyzing and reverse engineering an existing computer application and documentation in order to organize, categorize, and more formally document business rules.
2. Experience in developing and deploying applications in a J2EE application server environment.
3. Experience in using IBM Rational testing tools.
4. Experience using IBM Rational RequisitPro.
