JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Person will be responsible for developing drivers, BSP, Network Processor code for the IntruShield family of products.
The engineer will be responsible for developing software for multiple processors and ASICs.
Works very closely with the embedded software team, HW team and manufacturing team in coming up with requirements and implementing them.
Assist with troubleshooting customer issues and assist hardware and manufacturing team in isolating system problems.
JOB REQUIREMETNT:
-BE/ME in computer Science with minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience.
-Should have a strong software & firmware experience in developing software for embedded networking products
-3+ years in development of drivers, BSP for custom hardware, diagnostics, board-bring up.
-Experience with VxWorks or any other RTOS is a must.
-Experience developing device drivers and kernel development in Linux will be a plus.
-Good knowledge of Layer 2 protocols.
-Preferred Network Processor Experience (Intel IXP, Vitesse etc), Ethernet switching.
