The SOA Enterprise Architect as a part of BearingPoint's Integration Services team will focus on providing solutions around Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) across a range of BearingPoint's global clients.

The ideal candidate would have been a lead technologist on multiple successful SOA implementations. This position requires a good understanding of the Service Oriented Architectures; having performed a lead role in the establishment of an SOA environment and successful implementation of applications using SOA.

In addition to formal engagements with BearingPoint's broad client base, the candidate will be expected to develop and present proposals to existing and prospective customers that leads to business opportunities.

Education:
The candidate must have a BS or higher in a related technical field.

Required Skills:
  • 8 - 10 years experience in a broad range of both technical disciplines and business domains with experience in application and data integration.

  • Experience in SOA roadmap that encompasses assessment, governance, design, implementation, testing and monitoring.

  • Strong Object Oriented skills using open architecture standards such as XPDL, BPEL, UML, Servlets, SOAP, WSDL, JSPs, JDBC, SQL, JNDI, XML, HTML and J2EE best practices, design principles, and techniques.

  • Experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Fusion Middleware, Fusion Application Development Framework, BPEL Process Manager, Service Registry, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), Service Management.

  • Proven delivery excellence with at least 5 years experience leading teams in a project environment.

  • Able to gather technical requirements using structured processes as well as lead solution definition, solution planning and the direction and tracking of all technical aspects of the project.

  • Experience in the implementation of broader Enterprise Architecture programs within an organization including issues related to Governance, Management, standards development, etc.

    Other Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills. The Enterprise Architect role will interact with client business and IT senior management.

  • Must be willing to travel M-Th 75-100%
