A Software Engineer in our Software Development Group designs, builds, and maintains the software infrastructure that provides trading technology to the Company. This work includes everything from implementing interfaces to various exchanges, data feeds, information storage and management software, algorithmic trading agents to designing trader front-ends and system management tools. Engineers have the unique opportunity to work on every component of an increasingly complex distributed system that has been developed from the ground up. Each engineer maintains expertise in certain aspects of the system.<p> We are looking for developers with a strong academic background, who are highly motivated and can work in a challenging unstructured environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the theory of computer science with at least 5 years of practical programming experience. All software engineers participate in the full software engineering lifecycle from design and implementation to verification and production deployment.<p> Experience: Position requirements include B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field. <br>Require a strong background in Computer Science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. <br> Should be experienced in C/C++, data structures and algorithms, software engineering concepts, and object oriented methodology.<br> Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently as well as be a team player. <p> Desired skills include in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, Windows SDK, Real-Time Distributed Systems, Multi-Threading, and Perl. <p>Knowledge of the Securities/Derivatives industry and/or financial programming a plus.<p> <b>Please send resume to </b><p> To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
