Title: Optimization Statistical Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze client data and identify/resolve performance issues
  • Work directly with clients/sales team to explain statistical concepts and results of research
  • Conduct independent client research that will drive research topics and improve the optimization system
  • Perform statistical duties of client implementations: including initial research, model recommendations/creation, and implementation
  • Understand all statistical/mathematical aspects of optimized ad delivery (i.e. DoubleClick's DART product) - including business purpose and deep system knowledge of DART

    Skills:
  • Knowledge of basic statistical methods (linear regression, anova, estimation, hypothesis testing, inference, and basic probability)
  • Programming skills: competency in several of the following: Perl, Java, C/C++, SQL, R/S-PLUS, SAS, shell scripting, Excel macros
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux
  • Desire and willingness to work with clients/sales team
  • Desire and willingness to learn the DART ad serving system
  • Desire to work with data
  • Ability to work independently

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a statistical/quantitative field, required
