I. Summary of Position



Provides technical and project leadership, complex systems analysis and development, and ongoing support for varied technologies, architectures and projects for lending applications within the HTS Consumer Banking group. Initial focus will involve multiple products used by the Commercial Real Estate Division. Strong project management, customer business support and technical problem solving skills are a must. The candidate will interact with other HTS groups to complete assignments.





II. Principal Accountabilities



1. Provide system development and technical support for highly complex, critical programs and systems. Implement strategies to address automation, productivity and infrastructure problems and issues.



2. Provide technical leadership and consultation to project team members as directed by the application manager. Ability to function as an individual contributor or lead teams or projects of high complexity. Prepare cost/benefit analyses, functional requirements and detail specifications. Provide direct guidance in planning, designing, programming, documentation and implementation of the systems. Coordinate activities of assigned personnel and projects. Control project risks and impact on business and strategic plans.



3. Manage large or critical projects as assigned to ensure objectives are met on time and within cost while continuing to utilize technical expertise. Assist in defining and delivering global and strategic technical projects. Identify and address interfacing functions and applications affected by projects.



4. Provide technical analysis and consulting to the business. Research and present alternative technical solutions to the business and design and implement agreed technical alternatives. Maintain awareness of business technology strategies and the technical infrastructure to meet business requirements. Experience: III. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

This position requires an individual with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in computer science or related field and a minimum of ten years proven and progressive experience, including a minimum of three years experience in project management required.
  • Development experience in a mainframe Cobol/ AS400/ client server environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all systems development phases and deliverables.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Systems analysis and technical design.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and problem solving skills.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and respond to multiple activities and problems concurrently.
