Project Description
Wealth Management Report (WMR) is the consolidation of brokerage and individual brokerage management information. The project goal is to create a single view, consolidating multiple accounts and assets for the purpose of reporting data and performance accurately to our clients. The candidate must be able to manage multiple project initiatives aimed at achieving this goal.
The candidate must be a leader in Quality Assurance, providing clear testing scope and objectives for each initiative. The candidate must be able to meet challenging deadlines while implementing "best practices" throughout the development life cycle.
Responsibilities:
--Create test plans for assigned projects and applications.
--Develop test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and development standards for assigned projects/applications.
--Build sql queries to validate data
--Maintain existing test plans and test cases based on code changes and enhancements to assigned applications.
--Perform system load/stress tests for selected applications.
--Track issues and work with project managers and developers to resolve.
--Create and send issue reports to project team and management during test cycles.
--Coordinate user acceptance testing.

--Strong communication and follow up skills (verbal/written).
--Ability to decipher requirements and test scope when documentation is unavailable

--Ability to create screen designs/mock-ups, and report definitions
--Skills in Microsoft Office, ability to create documentation and presentations, develop spreadsheets

--Ability to create/present executive level report and presentations
--SDLC
Business Experience & Education:
--BA/BS Required
--5-7 years QA/IT experience in the financial industry
--3-4 years QA experience in capital markets with respect to any or all of the following applications: Asset / Wealth Management, trust, hedge funds, performance reporting, personal and family assets.
--QA/QC certification a plus (from PMI, QAI, IIST or other organization)
Can pay in the neighborhood of 550-575day
