Job Description:
Design and develop application solutions for MBS trading within a J2EE environment.
Minimum Requirement:
Platforms:
J2EE - more specifically, JMS, EJB, JMX. Weblogic preferred, but experience with development/deployment utilizing other containers such as WebSphere and JBoss are acceptable.
Java (J2EE) - must minimally be fluent with all server-side related API's
WebLogic Integration experience is highly desirable
Experience with Object/Relational data mapping solutions such as JDO (Kodo) or Hibernate
Database Systems: Sybase, Oracle
Other Programming Skills:
Work experience and understanding of XML, Schemas
Experience with Unix and Windows environments
Familiarity with UML
Business Knowledge:
MBS, Fixed Income, Trade processing, Trading floor support experience are all pluses
Project Experience:
High volume transactional processing systems
Communication Skills:
Must be able to effectively interact with business users and development teams
