Senior Identity Management Specialist in Brooklyn, NY

The CLIENT is seeking a senior-level identity management specialist to supplement its internal enterprise IT security team. This position will report to the chief information security officer, and will play a lead role in planning and implementing the security of a large-scale data warehouse and collaboration portal application. This is a highly visible position in which the successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running and take a lead role. Responsibilities: Serve as chief liaison coordinating the activities of multiple identity management and RBAC project across the enterprise. Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of identity management and RBAC. Assist in developing and implementing a role-based access control scheme. Assist in developing and documenting processes and workflow for identity management. Participate in the implementation of identity management systems and processes. Present reports to senior management on identity management strategy and progress. Review and supplement existing security policies with specifics relating to identity management. Perform additional security duties as needed to supplement the team's activities Experience: Experience implementing and managing identity management systems for large organization (over 20,000 employees). . Experience managing identity management projects. . Experience developing and implementing role based access control, preferably with IBM Tivoli Identity and Access Manager and Microsoft MIIS and Active Directory. . Experience working with identity and access management implementations related to large-scale applications, preferably on data warehouse and portal projects. . Broad and deep knowledge of identity and access management methodologies and best practices. . Very strong written and verbal communications skills and an ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. .
